This 18 hole, Par 71 course of 6,300 yards (white tees) is situated in Brampton, close to Huntingdon, in Cambridgeshire, just 2 minutes from the A1 and A14, directly opposite Brampton RAF Station.

Water is in play on most holes, although you will find that the course has been cleverly designed to ensure that golfers of all standards can enjoy a true and fair test of golfing ability.

The wooded nature of the course is such that it offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities, indeed the PGA East  Anglian  Open had been held at Brampton on many occasions.

The lakes and mature woodlands abound with wildlife, and great care has been taken to preserve as many of the natural features as possible.

Indeed, the 16th hole has been named “Badger Alley” due to the abundance of badger sets lining the fairway on both sides. It is here that one of the largest colonies of badgers in Eastern England reside.

Muntjac deer inhabit the woodlands, Canada Geese and swans glide the tranquil waters of the lakes, and an abundance of differing species of bird life can seen around the course.

It is a course that requires the use of every club in the bag. Its signature hole, the “infamous 4th” is a par 3 with a green almost completely surrounded by water.

Voted as the most difficult Par 3 in England, and the third most difficult in the UK, this hole sticks in the mind of every golfer who plays it.

The golf course is a true and fair test for all golfers, and is quite simply a joy to visit and play. The Club welcomes Societies, and individual players who wish to try our stunning golf course.
